About Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is a federal department that facilitates the arrival of immigrants, provides protection to refugees, and offers programming to help newcomers settle in Canada. It also grants citizenship and issues travel documents (such as passports) to Canadians.

The Dedicated Service Channel (DSC) provides specialized immigration services and support to key stakeholders so that Canada can attract and retain global talent and strengthen its economy. The DSC Outreach Team is responsible for helping Canadian employers by conducting educational and promotional activities related to key economic programs. Information sessions target Canadian employers, economic development stakeholders, and designated learning institutions. Outreach officers, strategically located across Canada, provide a range of outreach and engagement services with a special emphasis on the Global Skills Strategy, International Mobility Program, and Express Entry, and other high profile initiatives identified by the Department.

Outreach officers throughout Canada provide information sessions to help you understand which economic immigration options you can use to meet your hiring needs. Email an outreach officer for more information or to schedule a presentation : IRCC.DNEngagement-SensibilisationRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca
